Baggage to and from Chitose airport One of the best conveniences you could come across is the local road-delivery service offered in Japan. Known as "Takkyubin" it is a god send to those travelling by train or sightseeing along the way back to the airport the hassle of carrying your skis, board or baggage with you. For a very reasonable amount (approximately 3,500 yen depending on size) you are able to get your baggage sent directly to the airport, picking them up before your check in. As there is presently no English service available, usually your hotel/ lodge owner will be more than happy to arrange this service for you. |
