2019 Niseko Classic Dates Announced, Entries Open
The team behind the annual Niseko Classic road cycling race have announced July 6th and 7th as the weekend for this year's event. Entries are open now!
Widely regarded as one of Japan's greatest cycling events, the 6th annual Niseko Classic will take place on July 6th and 7th this year, drawing competitors from throughout the country and abroad to the smooth and rolling roads of Niseko.
For the serious road-racers, the showcase 140km road race includes a daunting 2,362m of vertical, leading competitors up the awe-inspiring Panorama Line climb, out to the Sea of Japan, and back to Niseko Hirafu Resort. Cheering spectators will line Niseko's Hirafu-zaka St. as the exhausted competitors grind their way up the final hill to the finish line at the Welcome Center.
The two-day festival of cycling also includes a 70km race, a time trial race and, for less competitive cyclists, the Niseko Yotei Fun Ride, which leisurely laps Niseko's famous neighbourhood volcano, and the Niseko Onsen Panorama Ride, which gently tours some of Niseko's best onsens.
This community event will also feature food and drink stalls, live entertainment, music and more.
Entries for all events are now open so visit www.nisekoclassic.com to gain your place.
