A Cultural Experience with Flavour: Find out What's Cooking at the 2016 Festival of Japan
The 2016 Festival of Japan will give visitors the opportunity to sample some of the tasty cuisine on offer at Japan’s year-round matsuri.
The Festival of Japan will introduce a tasty new addition to its schedule for 2016, with a "Festival Foods of Japan" stall that will introduce visitors to the many delicacies of Japan's year-round matsuri. It will be stationed opposite Rhythm Snow Sports and open for the duration of the festival (Jan 20-27) from 12 noon to 9:30 pm – perfect for a quick bite on the way to your evening event.
Dishes will range from sauteed noodles to skewered chicken and, at just 500 yen/plate, it's well worth indulging in this particular cultural experience.
As always, there will be a range of other events and activities for festival visitors to enjoy, including the crowd favourite Taiko Welcoming performance and the Discover Sake night with the Niseko Jazz Trio.
