A Whole Raft of Fun
As the winter snow melts in spring, Niseko's action packed rafting season begins.
Tackle some of Japan's best rapids through some of Niseko's most scenic spots.
At over 126km in length, Niseko's Shiribetsu River snakes it's way up, down and around the local mountains on it's way to the Sea of Japan.
And during the spring snow melt, there is no better time to get out there on a raft to take on the bulging white water rapids, or simply float down the gentler sections of the river with an expert local guide.

Time: 9:30 am or 1:30 pm (8:30 am, 2:30 pm slots are also available between 8th Jul and 31st Aug):
Course length: Approximately 3.5 hours.
Age: Primary school and up
Price: 13 yrs old and over ¥5,700, Under 13 ¥3,800
Hanazono Rafting
Open: Apr 27th - late October
Time: 8:50 am or 1:20 pm, course lasts for approximately 3 hours.
Age: Age 4 and above (Children at the age of 3 and above can participate in kids rafting)
Price: 13 yrs old and over ¥5,800, Age 4 - 12 ¥3,800
Rafting, lunch and onsen packages are also available.
