AYA Niseko Opening This Week
The newest, ski-in ski-out hotel to open in Niseko Hirafu will open it's doors this December ready for the winter 2016/17 season.
The newest, ski-in ski-out hotel to open in Niseko Hirafu, AYA Niseko, is only days away from opening its doors for the very first time this winter season on December 15th, 2016.
The highly-anticipated condominium-hotel boasts 79 luxury apartments and penthouses, offering visitors to Niseko the services and facilities they would come to expect from a high-end hotel.
The seven-story building that makes up AYA Niseko and all of its great facilities, is positioned in a prime location right in front of the Family Pair Lift, and is close to many restaurants, bars and stores in Hirafu.
On the first floor, you can find Ikeguchi shop hosting a range of great winter wear selections. Aya Gym, Aya Onsen and Aya Spa are also located on the first floor along with new Japanese restaurant Utsuwa. The super convenient ski valet and GoSnow Kids Center can be found on the back of building, facing the lift.
Next up, on the second floor, is the Aya Gallery. There are six artists who have contributed their art works to the gallery, with their works currently on exhibit now. Spacious in design and dedicated solely to exhibitions, the gallery will be constantly changing with new artworks over time. The gallery’s focus is on showing artists who are related to Hokkaido. Most of the work is up for sale, too, and if you are lucky, you might even get the chance to meet the artists behind the masterpieces.
Up on the third floor is the Niseko Kid’s Club childcare centre, where children can enjoy Hokkaido’s beautiful nature and learn about wildlife, all from the safety of the centrally located AYA building.
Start your day the right way with a yoga session on the fifth floor at Powder Yoga Niseko’s new studio. The new yoga room is spacious, and will accommodate much larger groups with ease. Powder Yoga Niseko will also be offering a larger schedule than previously, with three set classes daily in the morning, afternoon, and evenings, for a total of 21 classes a week. In addition, they will host monthly workshops with international guest teachers.
Finally, the penthouse is absolutely breathtaking and will provide guests with a truly special Niseko experience with stunning views of Grand Hirafu and Mt Yotei; the ensuite onsen; Japanese tatami room, and a mini garden.
Functionality and contemporary Japanese design combine with a Japanese weaving technique known as 'AYA' as the inspiration for renowned Hokkaido architect Koichi Ishiguro’s building design. Featuring interlocking lines harmoniously blending with Niseko's surrounding natural beauty.
AYA Niseko will welcome guests all year-round with it's range of facilities and idyllic location in Hirafu.
