Behind the scenes with Arc'teryx - Niseko Backcountry

"Arc'teryx skiers Greg Hill and Pia NIc Gunderson journeyed to Hokkaido, Japan for a last-minute photo shoot with photographer Angela Percival.

The team stayed in Niseko, and explored the surrounding backcountry, including Kiroro, Mount Yotei, and the Goshiki Onsen area. I was fortunate enough to drive them around to a few backcountry spots, and got some great video alongside Angela." Matthew Standall.

Rupert works for HT Holidays and returned to Niseko full-time in 2014, seven years after first discovering the resort's famous powder as a ski instructor. In between, he has worked in the ski industry in China and Canada, but in the end, couldn't resist a return to the resort that made him fall in love with the sport and the industry.
