Big Boost For Mountain Biking In Niseko

Two flow trails and a free-to-use pumptrack circuit are the newest additions to Niseko's bike scene. The Hirafu Flow Trail runs down Hirafu-Niseko's main ski slope and the Pavilions Flow Trail and pumptrack (next to each other) are just on the edge of the Hirafu Village.

Niseko's mountain bike trails have already caught the attention of competitive mountain biking circuits, such as the Downhill Series (coming to Hirafu this summer).

These latest additions are just what new and beginner riders need to get started here in Niseko. You don't even need to own a bike—you can rent everything here in the Hirafu resort.

Flow trails are family-friendly courses designed with banked curves and undulations so that riders can stay in control, going as fast or slow as they feel comfortable.

New riders can feel confident as they start to learn and advanced riders can really test their limits!

Instead of peddling or pushing, the ups and downs of the track let riders 'pump' through the circuit. The track was put together by Rhythm Japan and is great for mountain bikes and skateboards.
