Japan's Largest Outdoor Adventure Park Opening in Niseko
NAC's new adventure park, the largest of its kind in Japan, will open this winter in Niseko-Hirafu.
Climb, swing, balance and trek along the tree-tops with the opening of NAC's new adventure park in Niseko this coming winter.
Set to be the largest park of its kind in Japan, measuring 9265 square metres and 101 elements, the park is an exciting, new, year-round outdoor experience now available in Niseko-Hirafu.
With construction still underway, the park will offer great outdoor fun with features including suspension bridges, high ropes, vertical drops and zip lines – the longest of which is almost 100 metres.
The park includes six courses in total with four of them designed for beginners so its perfect for the whole family. Standing platforms are positioned at both four and eight metres above ground level so you can try a little higher if you want an extra challenge.
Courses
Level | Course | Participant Height |
---|---|---|
Beginner | Green | Elementary school student & above (115 cm or more) |
Elementary | Blue | Elementary school student & above (115 cm or more) |
Intermediate | Red | 140cm or more |
Advanced | Black | 140cm or more |
To ensure the utmost safety, the park will feature a French-engineered safety-line system whereby participants remain attached to the course at all times. Only with the assistance of staff can participants pass-by others on the course or be brought safety off the course.
Location
The park is conveniently positioned in the forest adjacent to the soon-to-be-finished, new Ace Family Quad Lift at Grand Hirafu. With a width of only 45 metres, the park extends all the way from nearby Aya Niseko to almost as high at the Hotel Niseko Alpen.
The 3-year project, which has been in construction since September, is well on its way to completion with a team of 16 tradesmen from Estonia. NAC are aiming to open the park on Japan's Culture Day national holiday weekend in early November.
The tree-trekking course will provide year-round fun and a fantastic new option for those wanting a different kind of adventure in the winter time. Why not be one of the first to experience this brand new activity in Niseko this winter?!
Course pricing soon to be announced.
Access to the park will be ski-in and bookings essential.
