There are learning experiences where kids can embrace Japanese culture. There are also great alternatives to skiing and snowboarding while still getting the kids outside. Here are just some of the best options!
Niseko Kid's Club
Niseko Kid's Club is a great indoor option for kids run by a group of professional caregivers. Operating out of AYA Niseko and Hanazono 308, Niseko Kid's Club is aimed at kids from 12 months to 6 years of age. They encourage children to build their confidence and develop new skills with engaging activities and fun snow programs. They ensure proper attention is provided to all with the help of their multilingual staff.
Niseko Kid's Club all encompassing service offers daycare, in room babysitting, baby equipment rentals so you don't have to bring it with you as well as organising birthday parties.
Niseko4Kids
Niseko4Kids was created to expose children to Japanese culture in a fun and engaging environment during their time in Niseko. Classes are designed to begin after most ski school lessons are over and during dinner, when parents may want some alone time. With pick up and drop off services and traditional Japanese meals provided, Niseko4Kids is designed to integrate seamlessly into your holiday.
The program is for children aged 1-12 and takes place in a traditional Japanese school building and all the tutors are Japanese, providing a full immersion experience for the children. They are introduced to simple Japanese words and follow a progression to higher levels over time. Learning is play based, both inside and outside, so kids are certain to have fun and, most importantly, come home ready for bed!
NAC Kids Garden
The Niseko Adventure Centre (NAC) has the perfect place for your kids to burn some energy off the snow. This three-storey playground has a ball pit, slippery slide and numerous other interactive obstacles to keep the kids going all day.
While the kids are playing you can enjoy a coffee, tea or meal at JoJo's Restaurant. The play area is for children 2 to 12 years of age and costs 500 yen per person.
