Niseko's Delicious Doughnuts
Grab one before they're sold out! Delicious doughnuts to drool over this summer.
Almost always sold out before noon, doughnuts are a local favourite in Niseko. Suited to the Japanese taste, doughnuts made in Niseko are light, airy and not overly sweet. Here are some of the best places to get your hands on the sweet treat.
Alaska Donut
Only open for two days in a week, Alaska Donuts makes one of the best doughnuts in town. Using Hokkaido milk and eggs from locally raised chicken, Alaska Donuts creates light and fluffy doughnuts in over ten flavours. We recommend trying out the matcha with white chocolate or chocolate with raspberry jam filling.
Pi-kan Rollpizza
Using local produce, Pi-kan Rollpizza makes a selection of desserts in Niseko. In particular, the doughnuts are made with organic products such as Hokkaido wheat, sun-dried salt and raw sugar. Feel guilt-free from devouring more than one of these sweet treats topped with handmade caramel sauce.
Farrine (Lucky Supermarket)
Located within Lucky Supermarket in Kutchan, Farrine serves up delicious freshly baked doughnuts everyday. The bakery makes a variety of doughnuts including chocolate, jam filled or plain as well as mini bite size doughnuts. The menu is always changing and there is always something new to try.
