Niseko's Vibrant Summer Cycling Events
Get ready for summer with cycling events happening in Niseko.
Whether it is a short cycle around the park, a scenic cycle uphill or just a trip to the local supermarket, locals love to cycle in the summer. Niseko's cool climate and beautiful surrounding makes cycling an appealing activity to enjoy summer outdoors. With this being one of the most popular summer activities in Niseko, there are many cycling events to look forward to.
Niseko Nature Ride
Enjoy summer with the first large scale cycling event of the year. Nature Ride Niseko encourages all ages to participate together and enjoy the scenery around Niseko. Courses will include scenic rides along Kimobetsu, Kyogoku, Toyako and more! With over 100 participants every year, the cycling event will also feature novelty goods, hot spring vouchers, food and drinks on the day.

Niseko Classic
Niseko Classic is one of the most anticipated international cycling festivals of the year in Hokkaido. The course will feature challenging routes around town and offer participants a breathtaking view of Niseko. Many roads are expected to be closed to cater for the large event. Although entries have now closed, come along for the food, drinks, live music and giveaways which will happen over the weekend. Guaranteed to be fun for all!

Yotei Circuit Fun Ride
In celebration of the Niseko Classic and as a fun preliminary event for entrants and their friends and families, the Yotei Circuit Fun Ride is a course suitable for individuals of all levels of capabilities. The route features a 81 kilometre ride which circumnavigates Mt Yotei. With regular stops between Makkari and Kyogoku's Fukidashi Park, enjoy a relaxing ride whilst taking in the extraordinary landscape around.

Strider Enjoy Cup
Participate in a fun day out as a family at this children friendly cycling event! The event encourages young children to learn how to cycle and pick up the hobby of the increasingly popular Strider bikes. Competitions are open to young children.

Hanazono Hill Climb
Happening as part of the Jaga Matsuri (Potato Festival), the cycling event will begin in Kutchan Town and pass through Hanazono before returning to Kutchan Town for the festival. Take part in the cycling event or come along to try the delicious street food and enjoy traditional dancing on the day.
