In a melting pot of cultures and winter sports enthusiasts, Niseko's winter art scene is getting bigger every year with exciting new exhibitions and more galleries opening up.
Kiyoe Gallery
Kiyoe Gallery Niseko provides a stage to the amazing artists in Hokkaido, showcasing their work and recommending contemporary art to visitors in Niseko. Enjoy events such as traditional Japanese Harp, tea ceremony and more.
Powder Art Niseko
A newcomer to the art scene in Niseko, Powder Art Niseko opened its door last month. As a contemporary art gallery, Powder Art Niseko represents a select group of international artists from Tokyo, Amsterdam and New York.
AJ Gallery Niseko
A pop-up container gallery in the middle of Hirafu Village, AJ Gallery Niseko is opened by long term resident and adventure travel photographer, Aaron Jamieson. Expect to find fine art images from landscapes largely unseen.
Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum
Until 17th March, enjoy Fujikura Hideyuki Exhibition which celebrates the museums 40th anniversary. Fujikura Hideyuki's Winter Exhibition (Part 1) will showcase not only the beautiful winter scenery in Hokkaido but also the landscape during spring, summer and autumn.

RAM Gallery
See how local artist Masafumi Sawada is inspired by Hokkaido’s wildlife and outdoors. The small gallery displays over 30 intricate sculptures and pieces created from steel. Enjoy artisan breads and cakes nearby at Boutique La Villa Lupicia.

With its full-length glass windows looking out to the enchanting winter scenery, appreciate a collection of art work and pottery in this serene gallery. Enjoy the serene atmosphere further by joining one of their workshops in tea making.
