Skye Niseko has been the talk of the town for years and it is going to be a landmark hotel for many years to come. The location is clearly spectacular and the building is stunning to look at. It will not only house rooms including studios, 1-4 bedroom suites and penthouses, but also a host of other amenities: the 150-seat Kumo Restaurant, onsen, spa, retail outlet, gym, Cafe Deli and ski valet with in-house ski rental.
We're excited to try out the first isolation tank in Hokkaido but also to get stuck in to the izakaya food at Kumo.
It does not get more "ski-in ski-out" than this!
With the building now largely complete, you will not be able to miss the hotel either from the village or from the hill. We guess there will be plenty of people ready to book to be the first to experience another first in Niseko.
The location is superb and the design beautiful.
