Snow Bugs Are Here!
Why you should be excited by these fluffy white creatures.
Yuki mushi, translating to "snow bugs" get their name because of their fluffy white body but also because they symbolise the coming of beautiful powder snow in Niseko. Many locals take the appearance of snow bugs as nature's sign that snowfall will arrive within the coming weeks as the bugs camouflage best in snow.
