Making Tokyo to Sapporo Cheaper–Details on the Newest LCC Airline Reveiled!
Spring Airlines Japan, a low-cost carrier, is adding a fifth route to Sapporo New Chitose Airport
Spring Airlines Japan, one of four major LCC airlines in Japan, has recently opened up its fifth route connecting Tokyo to Sapporo. Daily flights will go between Sapporo's New Chitose Airport and Tokyo's Narita Airport and the first flight along this route launched August 20th. The China-based airline has joined the ranks of other LCC airlines, Jetstar Japan, Vanilla Air, and Peach Aviation to help further increase the LCC traffic to and from Hokkaido.
You can expect that this will be a welcome announcement to international travelers looking to make their way up to Niseko this winter as it will be a small extra bit of added relief when trying to book domestic flights to make the journey up from Tokyo!
Spring Airline Japan has currently only scheduled one set of morning flights. Flying out from Narita Airport at 7:15 am and arriving in New Chitose Airport at 8:55 am then returning from New Chitose Airport at 9:40 am and landing in Narita Airport at 11:15 am.
Even if it is just the one additional set of flights, it is good news for travelers and for Niseko!
