The soon to be released SNOWSURF A Gentem Family Story features the big names behind the snowsurf movement, including GENTEMSTICK founder and Niseko local Taro Tamai and Hawaian surfing legend Gerry Lopez.

Shot superbly in 4K UHD, the film showcases the best of Hokkaido's snow and surf conditions as well an exciting crop of Japanese riders. It's an inspiring watch for anyone gearing up for another Niseko winter.

Rupert works for HT Holidays and returned to Niseko full-time in 2014, seven years after first discovering the resort's famous powder as a ski instructor. In between, he has worked in the ski industry in China and Canada, but in the end, couldn't resist a return to the resort that made him fall in love with the sport and the industry.
