Rhythm Rail Jam 2019
Watch on as Niseko's most skilled skiers and snowboarders gather at Rhythm Japan's annual Rail Jam. Performing tricks across a custom-made rail park at in Hirafu, participants will compete for a prize pool worth over ¥500,000.

Yukitopia Festival
Attend the annual Yukitopia or “Snowtopia” Festival in Niseko's neighbouring Kutchan Town! A colourful two-day event featuring a range of family-friendly activities including games, contests, entertainment, food stalls and more. A highlight is the Glide Across the Water! event, where daring competitors attempt to glide across a pool of icy cold water on makeshift skis and snowboards.

Appreciate Local Art
Treat yourself to contemporary art by local artists. Marvel at the artwork by Fujikura Hideyuk at Arishima Takeo Memorial Museum, take a walk down Ki Niseko's Gallery featuring photography by Akira Tanisugi or stroll through the new galleries in Niseko this month.

Feast on Hokkaido Seafood
Famous for seafood, try hairy crab, snow crab and taraba crab in restaurants across Niseko during the winter season. Kumo Restaurant, An Dining, Crab Dining Kanon are the some of the best restaurants in town to try the seasonal delicacy.
