Iwanai Shrine Festival
The festival is a 200 years old tradition which takes places in one of the oldest fishing towns in Hokkaido. Ancient rites are performed to pray for big catch and the safety of fisherman at sea. Watch hundreds of people parade through town carrying two heavy mikoshi (portable Shinto shrines).

NAC Festa
To celebrate the 23rd anniversary of NAC, there will be many fun activities and promotions at the adventure centre this month. Try rafting down Shiribestu River and tree trekking 13 metres above ground! In the afternoon, learn how to make one of the best burgers in town at JoJo's Cafe.

Niseko Classic & Niseko Classic Festival
Celebrate Niseko Classic, the international cycling event happening in town by attending the two day long weekend Niseko Classic Festival. Come along to watch avid cyclists participate in the challenging course or enjoy food, drinks, music, cycling gear shops and giveaways at the event! Niseko Yotei Circuit Fun Ride, a family friendly cycling event will also take place on the Saturday.

Summer Gondola Opening
To celebrate the beginning of summer activities in Niseko, a special discount will be applied during the first three days of the Grand Hirafu Summer Gondola. Enjoy the panoramic view on the way up to the mountains. Reaching the top, take a selfie or relax on one of the six Niseko Siesta beds which are especially installed for summer.
