Niseko’s Winter 2019/20 season kicks off this month, as do a bunch of exciting activities to keep you entertained. With a variety to suit all tastes, here’s a flavour of some of the things you can look forward to this November.
Ski Lifts Open
Snow sports enthusiasts can rejoice! With the Niseko Grand Hirafu ski lift opening scheduled for 23 November, it’s time to prepare for action packed days on the perfect powder slopes. Check out the Niseko United Trail Map and key winter dates for more information. Ski and snowboard lessons start this month too, so book yourself a session to brush up or start from scratch. Rugby World Cup Final
Japan has been in the international sporting spotlight as tournament hosts of the Rugby World Cup 2019. Be part of the action in Niseko by watching the match for 3rd place between New Zealand and Wales on 1 November at My Ecolodge and the final game between England and South Africa on 2 November at Niseko Pizza. Both games start at 18:00, so grab yourself a seat and bite to eat early!

Jomon Drum Performances
For a taste of Japanese Jomon drumming and an insight into traditional music, head along to enjoy the local beats at Niseko Sahina Campground this weekend. If you can’t make it this time or love it and want to experience similar shows, Skye Niseko will be hosting Taiko drumming on Sundays from mid-December through to March 2020.

Restore Your Inner Zen at Powder Yoga
